在海德推薦James時,我渾然不知他們也是brit-pop時代的一員,"Pleased to meet you"是他們最後的專輯,也是我認識他們的開始,關於他們的消息似乎很少,連找試聽都要花不少時間才能尋獲.
不知要如何形容聽James的感覺,"Pleased to meet you"從頭到尾十一首歌曲都有流暢的旋律,不用花太多力氣就能聽懂,搭配一些電音的效果,他們就是那麼簡單明瞭與美好,聽音樂有時只需要一種感動,而在被遺忘的James上,我似乎就找到了那麼一點感覺,似乎就如同聽懂Radiohead的The Bends一般.

同名曲目"Pleased to meet you"算是專輯裡風格比較突異的,灰暗低吟的前奏直到最後小小的爆炸,牽動心裡渴望的情緒,每當我想起與妳走過的那些巷弄,對妳來不及了解,還有最後的再見,雖然離開不知是永遠還短暫,但還是想說 Pleased to meet you .
